Default 2nd- 3rd shift???

i have a 98 z-28 a-4 with all the bolt on's 373 's tnt wet kit and computer tuning. i just had the trans. rebuilt with "heavy duty" parts. the guy that build the trans. is an expert and has built many for people i know. the problem is that from 2nd to 3rd at wot the trans feels like it slips just a little bit. i have a vig 3200 stall. the 2-3 clutch pack are new. the trans fluid level is fine. the 1-2nd shift is fine and hits hard. what could this be?? when i run i always keep it in d and not od. thanks for any help

there is no 2-3 clutch pack, there is a 3-4 clutch pack. Do you have billet servos or stock servos? Billet servos help out the 2-3 and 3-4 shift alot, if you don't have them get them.
