Trans Fluid ?
I guess this is a question that could cause quite the debate, but here goes. I just purchased a Yank SS4000 and the install instructions read to use either Dextron III or a good type F tranny fluid and stay away from synthetic. Does anyone have a preference to one being better than the other or does'nt it make a difference? Thanks
Hey Butch-
congrats on making the best purchase you can for that car!
Use Dextron, its what the car came with and most likely still has, stay away from synthetic, synthetic will kill that tranny in no time!

Hey Tim, Always appreciate the help. Have you started any projects with your cars? Keep in touch!
nah, still trying to pay down my Camaro, going to get some Longtube headers for it though before spring
I saw your other thread also , I am pretty sure that Formula has a 160 stat and the PCM has been adjusted for it, not 100% though, I have had some many of these damn things I get a few minor details mixed up here and there
