Does anyone know anything about this cooler

I wonder if it would be big enough to run without radiator

I bypassed the stock cooler, and ran it directly to the external cooler. Less restriction in flow, and no added heat from the radiator. I do drive my car year round, but i drive her damn easy before shes up to temp.. But, when it is up, all hell breaks loose. LOL

Same here, my car has bad piston slap when its cold and i dont like beating on the tranny while its cold. Even when it is up to temp i usually take it easy unless im at the drag strip. Then I beat the **** out of it haha

But i think im about to bypass mine, but i need a bigger cooler before i do that.

I have ran mine both ways. I prefer aftermarket cooler only and bypass the radiator.

So let me get this right... The stock cooler isn't an external stand alone unit, but is actually built into the radiator?

Thanks

Correct, it's part of the radiator. When your water temps get up to 180*+, there's potential for that heat to warm up your tranny fluid which is opposite of what you want. That's the reason many bypass it. If you drive in extremely cold weather, then it could be beneficial. I rarely drive in the cold, so I bypassed mine.

Thanks 99hawk, do you know if I could use the stock tranny coolant lines with a b&m 24,000 gvw cooler?

If you buy B+M kit 70264 it will come with adapters that let you use the factory lines with ease.

Alright, do you know of any sponsors that sell the kit with the 24,000? I was going to order it from speedinc, but it doesn't say whether or not the kit is included. http://www.speedinc.com/cont.cfm?cid=C0000126
