i always have a hard time fig. if i have the right amount of fluid in the trans, sometimes 1 side of the dipstick reads good, then the other side shows nothing-i mean its a straight shot, you would thing both sides would show the same-so i run it thru the gears, then let it sit, then fire it up and ck it again-i ended up with 7 qts, the book shows 7.7, so im close-i usually fill it untill the low side shows full-i even lightly sanded both sides to give the fluid something to grip on
i thought the side that read higher might be wiping on the tube or something, so letting it sit allows all the fluid to run down the tube
anyone notice this
