Default 6L80E Factory Torque Converter Question

Is there a difference between the torque converter found for in a 2009 G8GT compared the one found in a 2010 Camaro ?
Does anybody have documentation for both of them ?

Not a lot of documentation out yet, but from my findings they are the exact same. Same trans setup, same bolt pattern, same diameter, same stall.

The Corvette with the 6L80 is a little different, it uses a smaller bolt pattern.

CircleD, do you know if the stock conveter can hold lock in 3nd gear at WOT when in sport mode ? i've found GM locks the verter in 4th in sport mode at WOT in the G8GT's. then TUTD locks the verter in 3rd and 4th at WOT. i was wonder if i could use the same apply strategy they use in TUTD, and lock the verter in 3rd at WOT when in sport mode ?

Also, do you know if the camaro locks 2nd and 3rd in sport mode, or only in TUTD ?

Wonder why GM allow us to lock the verter in 3rd and 4th at WOT while in TUTD, but in sport mode it's only 4th?

Sorry for some many questions , but i want to make sure before i change the TCC apply settings and use some of the Camaro TCC apply ones that the verter would be OK for the task in the G8GT, and thanks for the clarification that we have the same verter between both G8GT and Camaro.
