On a 4l60e the front pump what are the bumps on the pump made or used for plz answer need help for skool credits.pm me

Well the pump is aluminum. Not sure what you are talking about bumps. Unless you are referring to the area where the bolts are threaded from the front cover to stator. Like 5 bumps?????? Vince
