Default Transmission Perform button and its relation to your gears

I recently read somewhere that if you have the transmission perform button you also have better gears in your car. Is that true? I had assumed I had 273's or whatever the lowest option is...I think I read that with the TP button you should have 323's or something. I'm sorry I don't remember the exact numbers. Just wondering if anyone knows about this?

Jack the rear wheels up, put car in neutral (engine off), spin the wheel 1 revolution while counting the number of times the Driveshaft turns. This will tell you what ratio you have. You can also check the RPO code on the door but someone could of changed the gears so i just would do it the way i explained

2.73 turns of the Driveshaft = 2.73 gears etc.......

I would bet you have 3.23s for sure if you have the TP button.
