Simple Question
Thanks,

TCI is a lower end torque converter which are massed produced. The reason why you see a majority of the members on here talking about Yank, Circle D, Vig and others is because they are high end converters and are hand built from crafted shells not reused stock ones. They last longer, can be abused harder, and have better response time.
In the world of torque converters you get what you pay for.
I had a TCI 3000 stall and it lasted about 2 years just daily driving before it took my pump with it and now I am running a Yank.
