Default In the market for a tranny and stall

Sponsors if you could please chime in on what oyu offer for a mildly modded TA. I would like for the stall to be set up for a daily driver, i currently have 3.73 gears and basic bolt ons. If i do a cam swao down the line, it won't be much lager than a stock ls6, lingenfelter g2-3 or a tr cheater cam. Fellow owners that have purchased from sponsors please give input/feedback too and list your current set up. Before and after testimonials are welcome too. Thanks in advance!

Man we have great sponsors here that will be more than happy to help you out.

So far ive ordered a PT4400 through yank and a stage 2 4L60e from performabuilt, they provided me with great customer service and fast shipping. Dont forget about our other sponsors as well that will be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.

For your setup i would say with the 3.73 gear and an upgrade to a mild cam later I would run somehwere in the 3600 range.

FLT and performabuilt have great reputations here. I chose a Yank converter and its been fantastic so far.

I would suggest our 245mm converter. We could do a 4C - 3600-3800 that would be a great converter for DD race car. We could step it up a bit to a 4000 or more, just depends on your needs/wants/dreams. A 3600 will be high enough to get good performance out of most baby cams. So you should be good to go there. We are also having a sale for February!!

You can give me a call at the shop, shoot me a PM or an email. Look forward to talking with you soon.

Here's a link a thread about my wife's daily driver that sounds a lot like what you are planning for. We added a custom baby cam to a stock LS6 longblock and got great results. We are also running a Circle D 4L60E and Circle D Specialties 3B stall converter. The drivability is amazing and it has real good power everywhere in the power band.

It all just works very well together. You just can't go wrong with the Circle D products.

i would definitely not hesitate to have performabuilt or FLT build you a nice strong tranny. i would also suggest going with a good quality converter like yank, vigilante or circle D. DO NOT GO CHEAP ON THEM!!

i daily drive a vigilante 3200 and it drives so much like stock. i would definitely do a bigger stall. atleast a 3800+ size stall.

We offer a 1 year warranty on a trans alone purchase and a two year warranty on a trans/converter combo.
