4l603 stall trouble

Default 4l603 stall trouble

I have a 4l60e that i just put a 4200 stall in, the car will not move and there is no fluid pumping threw the trans cooler. The tranny is full of fluid just not pumping it, what could cause this

either the pump broke, or you didnt seat the converter correctly onto the trans. If you didnt seat the converter correctly most likely the pump is now broke.

Sadly this is not good news. Do not turn the car on again, pull it out immediately and get it looked at. It is probably damaged by now though. This is the most common mistake when installing a converter, don't feel to bad.
