e clips on trans lines

Default e clips on trans lines

me and a buddy are replacing my trans pulled it monday. my question is how many e clips are supposed to be on the lines we pulled 2 e clips 1 per line to get them off but when my buddy went to put the line back in he noticed 2 more e-clips. he put the line back in and can only get one clip on per line.

no i have one trans the old one was sent in as a core. and when i took the lines off a removed 1 e-clip per line but my buddy was installing my trans with out me there and noticed another e-clip on each line

When you bought the new trans they prolly put new e-clips on the fittings. Almost every company out there will do that. And you guys probably just layed the other e-clips down and when you put the new trans in, found that there was new clips... In short: There should be 1 e-clip per fitting. And YES- Install the clips and then just push the lines in till you feel it click. GL
