Default Locking Circle-D 4C through diagnostic port?

I know on other cars you can force converter lock-up grounding a couple of pins in the diagnostic port. Possible here? I wanted to try it in high gear if possible.

You can tap into the TCC wire at the PCM and have a button to ground to activate it when needed. I believe it's the red plug on the computer pin number 42, tan wire with a black stripe on the 99-02 F-bodies.

Is that the only way? Anyone make a lock-up switch plug and play?
