4l60e problem? my recentley rebuilt 4l60e will not shift automatically and tries to start out in second gear when its put into D. however , if i place it in 1st gear manually it will start in first and i can also shift it manually into 2nd. the speedometer is not working for some reason now after i pulled the old transmission and transfercase out(everything worked fine before removal) im thinking that maybe that has something to do with it? i checked out all the plugs and connections under the truck and i dont really see it being possible for the speed sensor on the tcase go out just from removal of the tcase? idk. we did change the steering column while the truck was sitting though?>>btw this is on a 1994 Z71...any help would be greatly appreciated
