Default Which transmission should I go with?

I have a 2000 WS6 Trans Am automatic. Only thing i have done is an exhaust cutout. But my transmission has been slipping between 1st and 2nd under WOT. So i was looking for some advice on which transmission shop i should go with. I dont plan on modding the car to much beside basic bolt ons. I was looking at either PerformaBuilt or Finish Line Transmissions. Also looking to get a torque converter any suggestions? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

we have tried both of those companys & the FLT trans held up better for us.....

we also tried a 3200 VIG & a YANK pt 4000 converter.....both worked well but i liked the feel of the 4000 stahl better.....

good luck!

Cant go wrong with a yank ss4000 stall. I have bought two of them now. I will never go with another converter other than Yank.
