Default What trans do I have?

I bought a 6.0 from an '01 HD 2500 Silverado, and a trans which (I thought) was a 4L60E from my salvage yard buddy. The trans is different in appearance from the 4L60E behind a TBI 350 I have in the shop. It, the new one, has a separate bellhousing, what appears to be a nuetral safety switch on the side of the case at the selector arm, and, most concerning, the torque converter (came with the trans) doesn't align with the holes in the flex plate on the engine. Different diameter bolt circles (?). Am I just not noticing something obvious here?

The trans is from an '04, veh. #1GCFG15T741123003, and was originally behind a 5.3. I don't know if this was a truck or van. There's vinyl sticker on the trans with a bar code, and 4CHD on it.

No, I'm putting it (I hope) behind the 6.0. I mentioned the older, '93, 4l60E only because it has a different case than the trans I just bought. The 6.0 was a 4wd, and thus I had to get a different trans, as my truck is 2wd.

Do you mean the '04 trans won't work behind an '01 6.0?
