TCI Flexplate
TCI Flexplate For those who have a TCI Flexplate, I am curious on how you like it. Does the motor rev faster? Does it seem like it's worth the money? Is it lighter than the stock one? Thanks
I think it's actually heavier than the stock flexplate. I can't say that I noticed any "faster" revs. In my opinion, any upgrades to SFI specs are worth the money (SFI 29.1 flexplate is required for 9.99 and quicker or 135+MPH).

If its aluminum it should be lighter. If its a steel version its likely heavier bc its thicker and stronger. I did a 9.5 inch converter and an underdrive pulley and my motor wraps up/down a lot quicker then stock. Its a night and day difference. Dunno how much a flexplate would influence that though.
Well i love my flexplate its a very nice piece...Looks alot better and is definitely made stronger and the sfi apporved is a must too.I cant tell you about the revs cause i went from a 6spd to a stalled th400 w/rmvb, and the tci lightened flexplate
