well i went to the track last night and i think my tranny is going, my 1-2 shift is good but my 2-3 it hit rev limiter it seemed like it was in neutral then i let off gas and it changed gears what are my options? is the 2-3 the one that goes bad im on stock power stock stall car drove fine going home just at track and wot 2-3 would hang til i peddled it some to change...

there are some kits to correct the 3/4 clutch failure, but once the cluthes slip there is no saving them, prob time for that th400 swap

I am having the same problem right now. At wot it slips and driving normal its fine, i was told it is the 3-4 clutches getting to thin and worn down. Time for a th400.....I put some Lucas in there and it helped it a little

How much am i looking to pay for a rebuild? if its too much im going with either a t400 or performa built lvl 2 i think the car has a tranny cooler on it was under the front and theres a black one mounted infront of the radiator they didnt come with one correct?
