Need helping figuring out which Auto transmission to go with im swapping a LS2 into my 99z28. I'm building the motor in hopes to be around 550-600 hp, so i need a transmission to help support it. I don't care if it has an over drive or not i wont be driving on the streets a whole lot just maybe a little racing. Its going to be a mainly track car. 70% track 30% street
Also suggestions on a stall would be nice to.
Ive heard the TH 350 and TH400 are good but i don't know enough about either of them to know which one is better. Thanks ahead of time

TH350 or TH400 will work fine if properly built for your power level.
I would go with a TH400 if you are going to go through the trouble of converting the car and give up OD.
A 4L80E would be a good choice with OD. You can use your stock driveshaft.
Parasitic loss comparisons between a TH350 and TH400 are often ill informed and without data.
We've actually seen cars pick up with a TH400. In theory the additional rotating weight would cause a HP loss when accelerated quickly but in reality the TH400 seems to even out due to less parasitic loss elsewhere.
