It depends how you want to do it. You can get a converter that is made to bolt up to the ls1 flywheel or Hughes performance and I believe TCI make a flex plate that will bolt up to the ls motor and a gen 1 converter

yes the tci one is 399753 and you should buy a special converter that is a ls1/th400 swap ao u dont have to use the spacer and the regular ls1 flexplate will work perfect.Its what i did in my swap

Use the tci one thats what I used on my build and you dont have to use a spacer and its a hole lot easier. I got mine from a sponsor on here or summit or jegs has them. its the $200 one thats sfi approved.
