help coolent line clips? (look)
Well their new or rebuilt,(aftermarket converters) the one im getting is used off a car thats being parted out. so why when you remove a transmission (and converter) do you have to mark the plate and converter whats the purpose?
I would bet that your thinking of the driveshaft. I always make the driveshaft when I take it out, a driveshaft from time to time will make a vibration if not reinstalled to the pinion the same way. But I've never heard of a converter causing this. Also sometimes guys go to a poly mount when pulling a trans and that will make you feel normal drivetrain vibrations that you couldn't feel with the stock mount.

I have never had this happen, now if you change U joints and change the relationship from the actual shaft to the rear pinion flange (if equipped) and/or the front yoke. Then yes that most certainly will cause vibes, especially on a steel DS, not so much on an aluminum.
Yeah with no trans. Maybe I should support it with a jack? When you did it with your v8 did you have the flexplate on? I want to take mine off and run it, so I can see if its the rear main seal or not.
LOL yea, take the flexplate off and start it.
Somethings telling me to tell you to watch your fingers, and be very careful.
One other idea, clean around the area where you think there is a leak. This way it will be easier to see fresh oil leaking. I've also heard of dusting the area with baby powder and running it, the powder will make it easier to see fresh oil leaking, never tried this myself.
