tranny not shifting into 3rd at track

tranny not shifting into 3rd at track When I do a short burnout my transmission shifts fine through each gear but when I do a long burnout for some reason the transmission will not shift out of second gear. Does anyone have any explanation as to why?

Mine did the same thing, sounds like you burnt up the 3-4 clutch pack. Do you have a rebuilt tranny? If so who built it? And just out of curiousity who did your programming?

The tranny was just rebuilt with all the goodies. It shifts fine and firm at all times on the street and on the strip except if I do a long burnout at which time it simply won't shift into third gear. Nothing is slipping, it just won't shift. Tuning was by Chris R.
