Ok i have a 98 trans am with a auto matic witha gear shift kit as far as i know thats what the guy put in it when i got it... ok now when i start moving my car basically in first gear it feels like the car is being help back and over working itself but once it jumps to second gear the pull of the car seems to double... i guess that could be normal... but if its not is it my transmission that is doing that or is it somthing else... if it is my transmission what can i do to fix that... if anything...

 

it sound like a small stall like 2800 with a shift kit thats what i can think of

 

Should i get a 3500-3800 torque converter then?
