Default Buddy has a shifting problem
My friend has a 90 z28 and it doesn't want to shift unless he floors it. I believe he has the stock 200r? Tranny in there. Doesn't feel like it's slipping at all either. Any advice would be great. Once fixed I can race him :p. He switched the motor to a 350 also.

Check the tv valve in v/b it could be stuck or the governor valve could be stuck.

Most likley the throttle valve is stuck or a more obvious possibility the tv cable is unhooked i would look and see its its unhooked first/
