1. pull pan
2. use 15mm wrench loosen nut on backside of shaft (inside tranny)
3. remove spcer/clip on shaft.( comes off with a little bit of pressure but no tools needed)
4. use pry bar or in my case drum brake adjusting tool to pop out the shaft out the side of the tranny.
5. pop out old seal(probably smart to change it out now)
6. lube new seal with oil or whatever.
7. install seal with I think a 7/16th deepwell socket and a small hammer.
8. slide shaft thru seal rotating it ever so slightly
9. get shaft about 3/4 way in slide nut up around the end then push the shaft the rest of the way into the retainer
10. install nut onto threads (everything inside is spring loaded so a little finess and jiggling may be neccessary to line up)
11. install retainer/spacer clip
12. install pan
13. and done
very very easy.
