Question Built 4L60E question

Had a built 4L60E installed last november and when I went to change the oil after getting the car out of storage I notice two holes in the transmission bellhousing that were left uncovered.

Could they have fallen out in the 600 miles I have put on the car since the install?

And if not, how big of a mistake is it that these were not put on?

Thanks

Its just the inspection plate covers, not really a big deal.

Thanks guys.

I thought they were there for inspections but didn't know how important it was to have them covered.
