You need to get it tuned. My car was cutting low 1.6's on ET streets with a PTC 3600 stall converter and full boltons. How much are you stalling the car up when you launch?

I would say in the 1.6's, 1.7's at the least. Were you spinning? Nitto's aren't exactly the best drag tire ever but still should be able to do decent with them. With the SS3600 I was leaving the hardest launching from just above idle.

Like I said before. A tune will help out with your issues. Right now if you are full boltons you are running the car lean and possibly lossing hp because of it.

Also get a good burnout! Nittos need heat to work effectively!

Yeah, try getting a better burnout.

I was getting crappy burnouts when i would would back into the water box, then do my burnout where it was dry. I'd get wheel hop or a best 60 of 1.9.

I got much better ones when I backed into the water box, then did my burnout in the area where it's still a bit wet from the box. Put the car in 2nd gear, and get your burnout rpm to 5k or so...do that for 3-4 seconds, let off the brake, then the gas to finish.

Some people get better 60 foot times with a stall when they leave off idle, some do better when it's stalled up. I brought the RPM up to 1750 or so, and got a 60 foot of 1.64.

Seriously, my Edge 3200 would cut high 1.6xs and 1.70 flats all day. My Yank 4k hits even harder so I know it can produce the same or better.

With no tune and my Yank PT3800 I would cut 1.65's nearly every launch leaving off idle.

So I just think you need to heat those tires more.

I cut a 1.97 on a stock stall with MT DRs, but I have a line lock and smoked the tires well before I staged. I would agree with others on the nittos, smoke the crap out of them and watch that 60 go down. Also try idle launch and higher RPM launch, see which one gets you the better 60.
