As the title states.. I was recently running my car from a 30-90 roll WOT after getting the car out for the first time from storage. For some reason when the car went to shift from 2-3 the car acted like it was bouncing off the rev limiter and wouldnt shift into third and keep pulling. This did not happen before putting it in storage. I read that some people thought it was a tuning issue with the shift point being after the rev limiter, but I replaced my car back to the stock tranny tune with HPtuners and it still does it. The car shifts just fine at anything less than WOT, and the tranny fluid is full and looks great. I'm sort of at a loss for what could be wrong, I really don't think its a tranny issue but does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Since putting it in storage I installed a ported throttle body from a reputable seller and sent in my core, could it be possible that the throttle position sensor on this throttle body is bad? The only other modifications I did this winter was a new ram air kit and descreened the MAF, so I really can't imagine what else could be causing this. Any input would be appreciated!
The TPS verse MAF sensor could be off from each other , Always assume anytime you make a change then and issue occurs thats where you need to be loking first. Both the TPS and the MAF affect the way and when and how the trans shifts.

well, I put a new TPS on, didnt fix it, taped the bumpstop to stock width, didnt fix it, put a new screened MAF on, didn't fix it. Next I'm gonna try a completely stock throttle body. If that doesn't work we are going to play with the shift points and see if we can get it to shift. If that doesn't work, tranny work and stall are in order!

You know hp tuners is a pretty damn good diagnostic tool if you know how to use it.
I take it you didn't bother testing the TPS like I suggested?
You can actually run a scan with all of the specific PIDS in place and see the problem during playback.
Sometimes I think people are ******* blogging here,
not looking for help, not taking advice, just posting about it.
Good luck with that.
