Is there any article or guide on here how to rebuild automatic transmissions in a corvete? like in a 98 c5...since it's totally different than a (behind the engine) trans?

not a lot of special tools.............but expensive special tools.......you can do it........but not for the faint of heart.........get a rebulid DVD and see if you really wanna tackle it

 

I bought a DVD off of Ebay for the 4L60. It is real in depth, between that and what i have found on this message boards and others, it really has not been that bad. As for the special tools, improvise and go to youtube. Its kinda crazy what you can do with some C clamps and rubber mallet.
