About to do a m6 to manual 4l80 swap. Is the B&M shifter good for 3 gears or 4?

Both. It comes for a 3 speed stock, and if you remove a pin, it will give you manual low gear.

I was in between this one and the pistol grip pro ratchet. Went with the pro ratchet because it looks more 'stock' and at home in the 6 speed console without doing fab work or shortening the handle.
