I've already used the search function, so please bare with me. I just picked up a 2001 Trans Am that had a fried 4l60e. I've got a 700r4 that was recently rebuilt and was wanting to use that transmission. As far as I've seen, it's possible to use the 700r4 with the dished flexplate, and a spacer kit. I assume that I can use the converter thats already in the 700? Also, I haven't been able to find what happens with the eletronics, wouldn't the computer go stupid without the electrical connections?
