TH 400 stall speed
I have a mud truck with a magnacharged 5.3, Ls6 cam, Th400, stock converter, 1 ton axles, 5.13 gears, and 44" cut boggers. The truck has no guts on the bottom end it so I feel like I would greatly benefit from a high stall tc.
My question is what stall speed should I consider and which manufacturer has a decent cost vs. durability ratio? Keep in mind that I am VERY concerned with trans temp. I am not just making a single pass and then stopping to cool. I might go out and plat at WOT for 30 min. at a time. Although I know I will have to tailor my playing style if I go up in stall to keep temps under control.
I am thinking maybe around 3200? Yank 3200 is about $900. Id like to spend less than that, but not if durability will suffer.
Thanks guys!

Im assuming this is in a yota...lol Man, Id love to see some pics of this truck if it is...
also as far a stall is concerend if you end up needing something in the 3-3500 range ill be pulling my fuddle stall out for a higher stall speed in the near future possibly, Ive got a th400 swap also.

Yea man its a 94' x cab. Looks like we have something in common! I dont have internet at home, and not much time at all to be on here at work so pics may take a while.
When might the near future be?
