need help with vss in mustang with th400

i need a way for the pcm to see the car moving. trans is a th400 w. rmvb and brake. its in a 87 mustang

subscribed to this. I am putting a th400 into my 1998 mustang GT, and I am keeping the ford cluster.

02 pcm. the part in the picture you showed. does that gear get pressed on the main shaft

so chances that the gear is not on my trans all ready is pretty high?
