Default Torque converter bolts

I have a 99 Ta.. are the torque conv bolts reverse thread?

Thank you..My mechanic is having a hard time getting them off with an impact gun..

I'm not doing a mod..The rear main is leaking and the water pump.. I'm going to sell it and get an 05 or 06 GTO M6

Just me but I would never use a impact on converter bolts too much chance to round off the heads and would be a bad job to drill them out, I use 36 " of pipe on my breaker bar, and a home made tool to lock the flywheel and reinstall with new bolts each time

My torque converter bolts were stuck also . Didnt use an impact gun either .Then the heads stripped out Had to drill 2 of mine out .Wasnt fun

Its because there is lock tight on them..He is going to heat them up a bit..I own a shop,so we have all the tools we need. Then I found out it needed a water pump.. Gotta get it done so I can sell it..Its a clean and tight car for having 123k on it.. Gonna ask about $6995..

Yup a little heat will help. Also, I used a long *** extension that put me up by the steering rack. I got much better access that way.
