Default Hughes + ARP bolt length issue

I'm in the process of installing an LQ4 build and am having an issue with the flexplate mounting.

I have a Hughes 4L60E flexplate and a set of the short ARP flexplate bolts. The bolts have a slight shoulder that is protruding past the flexplate. The crank doesn't appear to have a recess before the threads begin and I believe the bolts will bottom before the plate is tight, although I haven't tried yet.

Ideas?

I thought about spacing the bolts out with a lockwasher, but am unsure.

Upon further searching, it would appear that I need ARP#244-2901, unless someone has a clever idea on these.

Worked like a champ!

You wouldn't happen to need a set of 330-2802's would ya?
