stall install ?
How far does the pilot of the stall go into the crank shaft? I just bolted the trans to the block and im able to spin the stall freely, im guessing I seated it correctly or it wouldnt spin right? Using drill bits I have between the convertor and the flexplate more than 3/8 and less than 7/16. How do i get it to 1/8,which i hear is ideal. And what kind of washers do I use?
I pretty sure the flex plate on right or i think it would touch the block right? I measured it again with a feeler gauge and I can almost get the whole set thru there something like 0.2735 . The stall is from circle d and flt trans lvl 4 4l60e and a cat power flexplate. Is this gap really out of the norm? am I supposed to try to pull the convertor all the way foward as possible and then measure?
Ok forget the feeler gauge measurement I added it wrong and its kinda confusing me because it goes from higher measurement to lower and back to higher and hard to get the gauge in there. but any ways it more that the 3/8 drill bit and less that the 7/16.
