what converter should I run?

what converter should I run? I have a 95 z28 that is all stock engine wise and i want to get the performa built tranny stage one but i have no clue on what type of converter to use.I want something that when i do add more power it will hold it with out having to buy something else in about a year.any suggestions will help.
