MAF 0100 Insufficient Activity code preventing 4l60e from running?

MAF 0100 Insufficient Activity code preventing 4l60e from running? Hi there,
I posted yesterday about my PWM TCC solenoid code (1860), and while doing some research on it i read that an 0100 MAF insufficient activity code can prevent the 4l60e from reaching proper line pressure.
The MAF is plugged in snugly -- i was able to drive the tranny in reverse for a little bit, but it seems as though forward gears are a no go -- if i mash on the gas to 2500 RPMs i can move forward a bit in D, but other than that i got nothing.
what should i do? fluid looks good, new filter. transmission is a 1996 4l60e.
