Headed to the track for the first time with an auto. ok, im headed to the track this friday with my heads/cam, 3.73, circle d +4c (stalled to 4200 on my tb) Z06. car will be running on hoosier drag radials. any tips on how to launch? should i stall it as high as it will go? should i just flash it from idle? not sure if i want to use the tranny brake the first time out, kinda want to get the feel of footbraking it first.
with my last stall (changing out for a circle d currently) i would footbrake to about 15-2000 and ease in a little till i knew i had traction and then let her rip. but ive only had 3 runs with my car.
