Default 4L60e Torque Converter alignment

I slid my torque converter in place on my 4L60e and I noticed the bottom is barely rubbing on the lower section of the bellhousing....is it normal for the torque converter to be in this position or should it be more centered in the bellhousing?

Any advice or input would be great - Thanks

Your converter may not be all the way in...see point 7 in post #1 in this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...allations.html
