Default 4L60E torque convertor not locking up

car is throwing code P1870 (transmission componet slipping) the convertor will not lock up no matter what, and suggestions ? I'm thinking the convertor took a crap. P0300 is enabled in my tune but i would think that if that was the issue the car would throw that code. I am planing on setting the misfire so that will not be in the loop but not 100% for sure.

P1870 could be a few different causes, the 4L60E is notorious for throwing that code in all applications. One of the causes is a worn valve body that allows fluid past a check ball per a GM technical bulletin.
