That write up didnt seem very well written and kinda confusing for someone that has never hooked up a trans cooler. Good luck Just make sure your 2 lines coming from the trans no longer go into the radiator and only go to your cooler and you have bypassed the factory trans cooler.

Honestly, its prolly best to plug the 2 holes in the radiator cooler just so dust and dirt doesnt get in there. But I left mine open bc in all honestly I will likely never use it again and you could always clean it out if you HAD to later down the road. But plugging these holes is not required, the radiator cooler will just be empty.

the new cooler should be marked. and im reasonably sure, on the stock cooler (radiator) the top line is fluid coming from the trans (hot side), and the bottom line is going back to (cool side) the trans. so just go from there, hook the top line into the inlet of the cooler, and the bottom line to the outlet of the cooler.

None of my B+Ms have ever been marked inlet or outlet, and on the factory radiator the top is the return line. I know it doesnt make any sense to go away from the flow of gravity but whatever . Bottom coming from the trans, top going back to the trans.

that makes no sense.... i have never delt with an automatic F-body. on my truck, the top line is the inlet, and the bottom is the return. so go figure. typical GM switching things up.
