So my car has had off and on 2-3 shift flare problem. After lots of tuning we got it to go away on the street. It wont ever do it on the street. But I go to the track with the car and thats all it does. It will bang the limiter 2 or 3 times but I stay in it and it will eventually shift.

So my question would be, could doing the burnout somehow provoke this?

I can beat on it all day long on the street and it will always make the shift. Weather its a downshift, launching it etc. But then I go to the track, do my burnout and go down the track and its hitting limiter every time?

 

Do you run the same size tire on the street and the track?
