Long story short, I've had a whine for a very long time. I put off fixing it because I thought it was my power steering pump, but then found out it's not. Listening from under my car I realized the whine is probably coming from the transmission.

It performs flawlessly but I'm assuming it's not a good sign. I've had no problems with it even though it's been whining for over a year, but would it be worth it to have the trans flushed and filter replaced? Hasn't been touched in 50k miles.

I have a full t56 setup that'll be ready to go in a few months but I need it to last until then, any suggestions on what to do?
