Default Vig 3200 question???

ok i've had a Vig 3200 in my car for about 1000 miles now (replacing TCS 3400 when i broke the tranny). i know PI underrates the stall speed of these converters a bit...i was figuring on getting like 3600 RPM stall out of it. after driving on it for awhile, im starting to wonder what the stall really is. i haven't actually tested it yet per say but i've noticed that normal, everyday, traffic acceleration is causing 28-3100 RPM shifts and the car won't move AT ALL at idle unless its PERFECTLY level or pointed slightly downhill. I've had a stall in my car for months now so i understand the concept of "looseness" but this thing feels DAMN LOOSE.....as i said, whenever i keep up with traffic while accelerating from a light, im flirting with 3000 rpm every shift. the car doesn't hit the rev limiter or seem to slip at all at WOT and when its under load it definitely hauls A$$....i'm just wondering if PI accidentally shipped me a 3600 which in turn would stall at like 4000 lol. i also dont have the flash RPM because i didnt notice in the few spirited driving sessions before the snow around here. anyone who has one of these, does this sound normal???

this thing just seems WAYYY looser than my old TCS converter...Any input?

that kind of what i figured...my question is related to the fact that the Vig just FEELS a lot looser than 400 rpm higher than the old converter...

I was just driving the other day and noticed my rpm from a light. I have a heavy TA with very little mods (3.23's) and my rpms usually hover around 2500rpm I want to say when leaving normally. I take off pretty slow with no muffler, so driving habits will really tell the tale, but I think 3000rpm with a very slightly spirited leave from a light would not be unheard of with 3.42's. Oh, and my car does not move at stops and rolls back with ease on my driveway. My shift extension is in the high 4000's (probably 4800rpm+)....but its really hard to say while watching the road.

thanx a bunch man...that sounds about the same as me. i can take off slowly and keep it at about 2500 too but normally keeping with traffic puts me at about 3000. i was just wondering if something weird was going on here.

Sounds about the same as my Vig 3200, 2500 shifts under normal acceleration and around 3000 when keeping up with traffic.
