Default Any clearence issues with the following trans?

I have a 2001 6.0L (iron block) that came with a 4L80E. The 4L80E is no good. I have a rebuilt 4L60E that I need to mate to the 6.0L. My question is, will the flex-plate, and torque converter from the original 6.0L and 4L80E work with the the same 6.0L engine and the rebuilt 4L60E? Is there any real difference between the two?

Thanks for your help.

your flexplate and TC from the 4l80e are different than the 4l60. you need a different flex plate and a TC.
I would rebuild the 80 and put it back on, they are bigger and can hold a lot more power....why do you want to put the 60? it would mate with no problem if you had a TC and flexplate though. good luck.

I already had a 4L60E built before I got the 6.0L and the busted 4L80E. Money is the real concern now. Trust you me, if I could afford it, I would build the 4L80E now. I think I want to use it for an upcoming swap though if the money is correct. Wouldn't want to waste the 80E on a stock rebuild...
Thanks for the info, though.
