The 6L80 and 90 are still pretty new units. There's not much of an aftermarket yet, and even the pros are still figuring out the fine tuning.
RPM has even recently said they weren't going to do any more A6's until the aftermarket catches up. (or something to that nature)

Circle D Transmissions has built some of the strongest ones to date. They built the record setting 2010 Camaros tranny and I believe it put down close to 1000 rwhp. They have done a ton of R&D to built a stout 6L90E unit. Give them a call at (713) 895-7019.

I talked to them the other day. They told me the can build it but there top
6l90e is rated for only 600hp?
