Default stall ?'s

i have a th350 with a 3200-3400 stall. But when i powerbrake it, it stalls at about 4500. Is this a problem, can anyone explain why this is?

Seems abit high for a 3200 to 3400 something is not right . Do you have a good tach, does the tranny feel like its slipping , any lose of power.

i know the tach isnt right, but i have to push the pedal almost all the way to the floor, like 1 inch from the floor, to get it to power brake. Does it take this much power to powerbrake?
