Default 700r4 to ls1

ive done some searching but cant find any good info about anyone who has swapped in a 700r4. i have a t56 in my 98 z right now but have a built 700r4 sitting around. i am about to go to a 9 inch rear and would like to use the 700r4. does everything bolt up correctly? do i buy a 700r4 converter? do i need to use a crankshaft spacer? ive heard that the 700r4 should be the same as a 4l60e? anyone that can chime in would be much appreciated

I beleive you would have to buy a hybrid stall.... When that car has a th400 in it, I bought a vig stall with a ls1 front, th400 stall. This is the reason why the car has a body mounted T/A. You will also need to buy a custom made D/S. Shouldn't be too hard to put into the car.

It bolts up just like a th350, 400, etc. Five bellhousing bolts and a crank spacer.
If it has a electric speedo sensor it should work, and you'll need to get some brackets for the TV cable. Bowtie overdrives has the correct tv brackets.
