I bought a hurst promatic 2 shifter for my 2000 trans am. I got it all installed but when I'm driving it don't want to shift.?? But when u let out of the throttle it will shift. An hammering into it she reves up to the rev limiter before she down shifts. It's never done this before, an I didn't hook up the other tow linkages that where installed to the stock shifter. What can I do to get it to stop an work properly? Or is there anything I can do?

The Sensors an other stuff that was on the stock shifter wouldn't have anything to do with it doing what it is now??
