Which transmissions are interchangable?

Which transmissions are interchangable? Ok so my trans started slipping last night. I need to know which cars/trucks have the same trans that is an easy swap for my car.
I know the trucks of the same year will fit but need the tail shaft swapped out.
Will the LT1 f-bodies 4l60e work? (spline count the same? Computer the same?)
SUV's?

Any non LS1 v8 4L60E will work if you swap it in with a flexplate spacer and flexplate modifications, and use the converter that came with the trans.
Trucks interchange from '99 and up, vans '03 and up.
The major differences are the tail housing and servo.
